Worsbrough Mill and Country Park commissioned Nature Sign Design to design manufacture and install a number of ladder signs, fingerposts, lecterns, noticeboards, steel signs and wayfinders.
This was a fantastic project, we were to hand draw a map of the area, all the illustrations for the lecterns which were placed around the reservoir, design all the signs for the lecterns and signage around the park, which included large wayfinder markers and fingerposts.
The park has a 17th century working flour mill, a mill pond and reservoir which has lots of wildlife.
We designed a very large wall mounted display cabinet which housed an A2 lockable noticeboard a A1 permanent hand drawn map, and an A2 illustration of the wildlife around the mill pond.
This was a diverse project; we had quite a few meetings on site and worked closely with our client to ensure that they were completely happy at all stages of the design.
Our ‘green to the core’ panels were installed on this project for the environmentally friendly aspects and durability.
Our installation team did a brilliant job on site for two days, installing everything around the park, it was sometimes challenging as the access was limited for vehicles, but all problems were overcome and the job went very smoothly.
