Yosemite National Park Sierra Nevada mountains
On our recent trip to the US we took in the sights of Yosemite National Park. Yosemite National Park is located in California, within the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The park is famous for its Sequoia trees, it is the only place on earth where they naturally occur, and for its rock formations. It is where you will find El Capitan, an extremely popular spot with expert rock climbers due to the difficulty of the climb, and Yosemite Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in the United States of America.
